IVCE is pleased to announce the Vietnamese culture program for the Asian Lunar New Year at the American Museum of Natural History (www.amnh.org). The program includes the Áo Dài Fashion show and the Ðông Hồ Folk Painting & Calligraphy exhibition. At the fashion show, Lê Thanh Phương, a fashion designer in Vietnam, will present 30 sets of Áo Dài Vietnamese traditional style with 15 Vietnamese models from NYC. At the exhibition, artist Vũ Hối will write your name or any short words in Vietnamese or English in calligraphy, and you can also design your own Ðông Hồ folk painting!
It is a dynamic time in New York City to showcase the beauty of Vietnam Culture to the greater public so please join us.
Áo Dài Fashion Show:
Place: Hall of the Universe, AMNH, West Central Park.
Time: 2:30pm – 3:30pm. Saturday, January 26th, 2013.
Ðông Hồ Folk Painting & Calligraphy Exhibition:
Place: Birds of the World, AMNH, West 77th Street.
Time: 11am – 4pm. Friday, January 25th & Saturday, January 26th, 2013.
Admission: Free with the museum admission ticket.
